This week as been a breakthrough for the kittens. Abby has allowed them to run around. Abby still gets nervous if they stay away for to long but she is trying very hard to give her babys the freedom they need. Daschmila and Dejan have tryed so long to ascape from Abby and to run and play with Asis her babys so that Abby had to let them go. But now life is getting harder for us as we have to be very carefully when walking through the house as the kittens have right of way LOL.  Sorry about the odd colours in the videos - it was to dark in the room.

Dschamila and her brothers are 4 weeks today and are developing realy good. All three of them are sleeping now in my bed to give them a bit more room to play as Abby is quite striced with them and woun´t let them go out of there box which they had. Whenever one of them started to walk around in my bedroom she would then pick up the baby and bring it back to the box. Abby is not really happy to see her bavbys getting older and more mobile - this means more work for her LOL There was planty of room in he box to sleep ( 2 adults and 7 kittens) but I tought it is quite to small to play and to learn how to walk. Abby is very happy about her bavys being in my bed and the kittens now have much more space to run. The photos of the kittens which I made at the weekend where no goog so there woun´t be any kittendiaryphotos this week.

Wow!! The little kittens are almost 3 weeks. Time is just running and they grow soooo nicely. They also keep Abby busy as she does not like it when they crawl out of there box LOL They are not that fast yet but they are very intrested in whats going on.

Abby´s kittens are now 12 days old and have opend there eyes. All of them are doing well and putting on a lot of weight. It will only take a few more days untill they will start to run with the others - if Abby will let them LOL Abby is a brilliant mother who loves her new "job" She keps an eye on all the kittens and makes sure that they all behave them self.

With Abbys kittens I needed a bit longer to name them this is because I was not able to tell the snow kittens apart. I absolutly don´t like it when my babys don´t have names but not knowing who is who didn´t seemed to be right too. But now with 5 days my problem has been solved and the babys have there names now. When the kittens where just born I thought Abby had 3 boys in her nest but now it is clearly to see that one of the snows is a little girl and thats why I can tell them apart now.All 3 of them are developing nicely and 2 of them have already started to open there yes. Abby is still a vary proud and good mother and she is still sharing the mothercare with Asis.

Abby is now the proud mother of 3 boys. She has a brown marble and 2 snow marbles. She is a very proud mother and has also adopted Asis her babys LOL They are now sharing the mothercar. Abby and her three sons are all well. More photos and infos will follow in the next days. It has been a very long monday and the night wasn´t any better so I need a bit time for the dogs now.

Abby kept me waiting all monday. She started to ask for my company in the early afternoon and since then I stayed with her with just a few brakes inbetween to check the dogs and get a nother coffee LOL Asis was also enjoying so much attention and so did her kittens which where playing with me quite a lot or where freeruning in my bedroom untill about 2pm as Abby decided that they are to little to run about and started to collect one by one. So to make sure that Abby does not get stressed to much as she really started to get worried about Asis her kittens I put them all back into there box. From then on Asis and Abby shared the mothercare. Asis came every now and again to check on her babys and to feed them and Abby was playing and cleaning them. Then finally Abby gave birth to her brown son at 8.29pm. He weights 76g. All went good and Abby cleaned him straightway. I was a bit chocked about the size diffent of the babys and was hoping to seperate the 2 litters but Abby showed my that she either gone have them all or non - ofcourse I let her have them all. After she cleand her little boy she cuddled up with Asis and then Abby started to feed her own baby. Well I knew that there must be some more babys on the way so I waited patiently, and waited and waited and waited .... untill 11.45pm where I decided to catch some sleep. Abby was quite loude as she passed her little boy so I was hoping that she will wake me up when ready to carry on. And yes she woke me up at 1.40am as she gave birth to her next baby - well to her thierd baby because as I sat up and had a look in the box I found a nother kitten laying with Abby. This little snow boy was already dry and weights 95g and her last boy, also snow, weights 89g. I watched Abby for a bit longer to make sure that there are no more kittens to expect and also to see how she will handl both litters. So after a while I tryed  to catch some sleep again, which was not very easely because when ever Asis went into the box to feed her babys and then left the box again Abby was desperately calling for Asis her kittens to come back to her. I always woke up and checked if everything is ok and I am really pleased to say that my girls have it all under controll.The neight ended at one point and I found time to play with the dogs again. They have been behaiving so good and respected that I didn´t had that much time for them. A big Thankyou goes to my Mum how helped me watching the dogs and made sure that they still have a good day. I also rearranged my bedroom setup. The big box for Asis her kittens is not in use anymore. Abby has a smaller sleepingbox on the flore where she is able to nurse her babys and watch the others playing in the room. Infront of the box is a blanked which gives Asis enough room to cuddle up with her babys when feeding them. Abby´s box stands reight next to my bed so I can watch them during the night. I am so proud of my girls that they are getting along so very well and that they are entrusting there kittens to eachother.

 

Abby is giving birth to her first baby

It is almost 2 years ago when I sat next to Asis and was watching her Kittens moving in her nice pregnant belly untill the 21.07.2008 when Asis gave birth to Abby and her sister and brother. And now I am sitting next to Abby and I am waiting for the first movements of her Kittens. I am very exited about Abbys Kittens and we all are keeping our fingers crossed for a safe delivery and a happy nursery.

The Dad of this Kittens is Bluezapto Casper Magic. He is a very rare Blue snow marble and also very successful at shows where he already won 30 new trait merits at TICA shows !!!

 

UPDATE !!!

Abby has been to the Vet yesterday for a scan and unluckely I had to find out that she has a pseudopregnancy. We will wait a few weeks and hope that this clears on its own before we would give her any hormone. So it will be late summer when Abby hopfully will be pregnant. If she than will have our C-litter or our D-litter, well thats something we have to wait and see.

Abby has been calling again so she went back to see Casper. I will keep posting updats on her and we are even more hoping for little kittens in september. A big Thankyou to Barry and Rene for being so patient with Abby. However Abby will now be having the D-Litter LOL

We might be a bit more lucky this time as Abby has pinked :-))) And she has become very cuddly.
